For as long as they can remember, Dr. Nick and Dr. Nicole have been voraciously curious about human potential and the human body. They wanted to know, what exactly is it that makes people sick and tired? Why do some people struggle with their health and while others find a way to thrive, often despite the having similar genetics, family history, or other challenging circumstances?

They were also passionate about a multitude of seemingly unconnected things: learning, psychology, biology, entrepreneurship, mindset, neurology, physiology, food, cooking, nutrition, medicine, fitness, teaching, and energy, and physics, just to name a few.

After several failed attempts at working in other offices and a lot of angst about providing one-dimensional healthcare, they realized that their unusual combination of interests and skills as a strength, not a liability.

They gave up the security of working for other doctors only 8 months out of school. Dr. Nick and Dr. Nicole moved across the country from Seattle to New Jersey, began bartending, valeting cars, and doing house calls while slowly building a new platform for healthcare, Integrative Wellness Group, from the ground up.
