Healthy Mocktails

With the holiday weekend coming up, try these healthy beverage options that are super refreshing without the hangover!

 

GRAPEFRUIT AND ROSEMARY MOCK-A-RITA:

Ingredients:

  • 3 oz club soda * I used La Croix’s grapefruit sparkling water
  • 1/2 lime, juiced
  • 1/4 grapefruit, peeled
  • 1/2 sprig rosemary

Muddle grapefruit and rosemary in bottom of high ball glass. Add lime juice followed by sparkling water.

For a Healthier Cocktail Option— Use 1oz silver tequila like IXA Organic Tequila or Tierras Organic Silver Tequila.

 

CUCUMBER LIME TONIC:

Ingredients:

  • ¼ cucumber, diced
  • ½ lime, squeezed
  • 1 cup club soda
  • Handful organic mint leaves
  • Optional: Honey simple syrup

In a small glass, use a muddler or the back of a wooden spoon to muddle the mint and cucumbers in the bottom of the glass with the honey simple syrup. Squeeze the lime and use the muddler to extract all of the lime juice.

For a Healthier Cocktail Option— Use 1oz organic gin like Prairie Organic Gin, Farmer’s Gin, or Journeyman’s Gin.
