Coreen began her health journey as a movement specialist within the Dance and Pilates community.
Her knowledge and love for anatomy started as a professional ballet/contemporary dancer, and a long term position as Assistant Director at a dance academy focused on precision and technique.
In 2008, Coreen became certified in classical Pilates through the Kane Institute, NYC. This brought a sophisticated understanding of anatomy with emphasis on the pelvic floor and biomechanical movement.
After witnessing many of her students and their parents struggle with emotional and physical disorders, Coreen began to see connections. She knew there had to be a way to support and educate families to help them understand their health and wellbeing.
For years, Coreen struggled with infertility, and in 2013, along with her husband, adopted their son, Maxwell. She decided to go back to school and make it her mission to provide all the tools necessary for Max to grow and thrive through all developmental stages.
Coreen is certified through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and continued her education at the School of Applied Functional Medicine. Her investigative spirit drives her to seek knowledge through workshops and courses continually. Coreen believes the body wants to he healthy; it’s just a matter of figuring out each individual’s combination and unlock their healing potential.
All of these experiences and modalities provided the ability for Coreen to help children and adults of all ages in a very unique way. This path led her to join the IWG team, who are on the front line in the revolution of integrative health care.
