Condition: Inability to Lose Weight
Symptoms: 66-year old female patient presented with trouble losing weight for the past 20 years. The patient was diagnosed with high blood pressure and high cholesterol. She was recommended two prescriptions for decreasing her blood pressure, which she was taking for one year. She was also diagnosed with hypothyroid and was prescribed synthroid.
Findings: I performed blood analysis and hair analysis on the patient. The blood showed that the patient was a Type II Diabetic, having malabsorption issues in the gut, and very high cholesterol. The patient also had very high inflammatory markers, which contributed to her high blood pressure. Inflammation and high cholesterol was partly caused by 6 toxic heavy metals present in her body.
Treatment: The patient was recommended a 4-month protocol. We started with detoxification and blood sugar balancing. Then a GI cleanse and repair, followed by hormonal and adrenal support.
Conclusion: The patient dropped her Hemoglobin A1C from 6.3 to 5.9 in 8 weeks. She also stabilized her blood sugar (glucose) and her blood pressure within 8 weeks. The patient has lost 35lbs (through a sustainable diet) over the course of 5 months and is no longer in the Diabetic range!
